We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our post-production team at Drägr Studios. This is a full-time remote position (8 hours/day, 5 days/week) for someone who loves editing short-form social media content and advertising campaigns. You must have excellent people skills, integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. This would be a day shift (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM PH Time) because our clients are in the US and we prefer normal daytime hours with a small overlap for communication.

  • Cull and select the best footage from raw video.
  • Edit approximately 60+ vertical short-form videos per month (typically under 60 seconds each).
  • Edit 1-2 long-form videos per month (generally under 5 minutes).
  • Create social media ads, reels, promotional videos, and client content.
  • Add graphics, text animations, transitions, captions, music, and motion graphics where appropriate.
  • Perform basic audio editing and mixing (dialogue cleanup, EQ, music balancing, mono/stereo configuration).
  • Perform color correction and color grading to match company standards.
  • Export final deliverables to designated storage/review platform.
  • Manage project files and maintain an organized editing workflow.
  • Create reusable editing timelines and templates that improve future efficiency.
  • Participate in revision rounds based on feedback.

Skills and Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong understanding of macOS.
  • Experience editing high-volume short-form social media content.
  • Experience editing paid advertisements.
  • Strong color correction and color grading skills.
  • Strong audio editing and mixing skills.
  • Experience creating motion graphics, titles, and animated overlays.
  • Ability to organize large media libraries.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with multicamera editing.
  • Experience syncing footage using timecode (Tentacle Sync or similar).
  • Understanding of proxy workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Technical knowledge of: waveform monitor, RGB parade, vectorscope, histogram, IRE values, white balance, color correction vs. grading, broadcast-safe levels, match cuts, J/L cuts, Ken Burns effect, speed ramping, compound clips, roles/audio organization, multicam editing, XML workflows.

Preferred:

  • Experience editing music videos, concerts, or live performances.
  • Experience editing commercial content.
  • Experience working in a marketing agency.
  • Experience batching large amounts of recurring content.
  • Experience working remotely.
  • Familiarity with Parsec or other remote editing workflows.
  • Experience using a NAS or shared storage system.
