Who We're Looking For

We are a small, close-knit real estate video team looking for a self-directed Video Editor who loves creative storytelling and isn't afraid to break away from typical real estate trends. This is a full-time remote position (night shift, 12:00 AM – 9:00 AM PH Time) because our clients are in the Canada. You have excellent people skills, integrity, and attention to detail, plus a proactive mindset. You're excited to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, and you thrive on taking ownership of your craft.


Our work is time sensitive. Listings go to market on a schedule and our clients are working to their own deadlines,

so most videos need a quick turnaround. You are comfortable working at pace, you manage your own queue, and you flag early when something is at risk rather than after the fact.


Our work is also seasonal. From roughly March through October we are busy with listing videos and reels. From late November through January listing volume drops off sharply, and your focus shifts to our own brand content — company reels, portfolio pieces, and creative projects. Your hours and your pay stay the same year-round. We are hiring for the year, not for the busy season.


Responsibilities

  • Edit 60–90 second main videos for real estate listings, ensuring high-quality pacing, color, and sound.
  • Produce fun, creative social media reels for real estate that stand out from the crowd.
  • Edit company-specific social media reels when listing video volume is low.
  • Collaborate with Jacob and Dee to understand project goals and incorporate feedback efficiently.
  • Use tools like DaVinci Resolve or FCPX (preferred) to deliver polished final products.
  • Apply subtle VFX and AI enhancements (e.g., timelapses, moving shadows) when needed.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with the team regarding progress, questions, and revisions.
  • Proactively suggest creative ideas and look outside the industry for inspiration (e.g., car videos, luxury resorts).


Skills and Requirements

  • Proven experience in video editing, preferably with DaVinci Resolve or FCPX (not a deal breaker, but a plus).
  • Strong understanding of pacing, music selection, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with VFX and AI tools for subtle enhancements.
  • A positive, friendly, and creative attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to our internal workflow and tools.
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace for remote work.
