Who We Are
7TI empowers lives digitally, connecting top talent with global leaders and offering elite training in a thriving community, so you can build a future-proof remote career with growth and freedom.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for an industry-leading Video Editor who is passionate about producing polished, on-brand video content for a growing Massachusetts media company.
The selected contractor will provide video-editing services during an agreed availability window aligned with US-client coordination needs. The anticipated coordination window is 10:00 PM–6:00 AM PH Time, Monday through Friday.
You care about producing high-quality work at scale, communicate well, work with integrity, pay close attention to detail, and take initiative. You will be trusted to determine the manner, method, sequence, and workflow used to deliver the agreed services while meeting agreed outcomes, deadlines, communication expectations, and client-coordination needs.
Responsibilities
- Edit real estate listing videos while meeting the four-business-day turnaround window from shoot to delivery.
- Produce monthly retainer and social content, including vertical reels, within the agreed 10-business-day delivery window.
- Retrieve raw footage through the custom delivery portal and maintain organized, well-labeled media.
- Work from the Notion project board, moving cards through Review status with clear feedback.
- Complete quality control on every edit against the house rubric before submitting it for review.
- Match each client’s established house style precisely to ensure consistent delivery across the client roster.
- Turn around revision notes promptly and communicate proactively in Slack when a deadline is at risk.
- Support wedding films and commercial projects as the scope of assigned work expands.
- Help refine the QC rubric, reference style library, and onboarding materials.
- Manage an assigned client roster with reliable, high-quality delivery.
Skills and Requirements
- 2+ years of experience editing real estate, wedding, or commercial video, ideally in a high-volume agency environment with daily deadlines across multiple clients.
- Final Cut Pro proficiency is required; Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve experience alone will not transfer on day one.
- Strong pacing and storytelling instincts across cinematic long-form listings, weddings, and commercial work, as well as short vertical social formats.
- Solid color-grading and audio-mixing fundamentals.
- Organized media-management skills across multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong written English and proactive communication.
- Discipline to match an existing client or brand style rather than impose a personal style.
- Consistency at scale: the 40th edit should be as sharp as the first.
- Prior experience working with US-based clients is a strong plus.
- Final Cut Pro or color certification is a nice-to-have; portfolio quality and the paid test edit matter more.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a professional remote work environment.
- Ability to meet the agreed availability window, communication expectations, and assignment-specific service standards.
How We Will Help You Succeed
- Direct Ramp: Early edits receive personal review and written feedback before delivery.
- Clear Standards: A QC rubric defines what “done” looks like for each deliverable type.
- Reference Library: Access to past client videos for accurate style matching.
- Ongoing Support: Access to senior-editor, owner, or coordinator feedback as assignment scope grows.
- Automated Operations: Assignment, delivery, and scheduling processes are automated so you can focus on editing rather than chasing files.
- Collaborative Culture: A direct, low-ego feedback culture focused on consistent quality and continuous improvement.
